BIO

STREET DREAMS (SD) is a Rock 'N' Roll band based in Los Angeles, California, USA.

Their sound, generally described as alive and passionate, is a mix of many Rock

sub-genres.

Their 2021 4-track debut EP, Do You Believe In Rock 'N' Roll? asks you to remember a time when Rock reigned supreme, and imagine where Rock 'N' Roll can go in the 2020's and beyond. It gives a glimpse of where the band's upcoming full-length LP is going. From the smooth, guitar and synth driven opener "Now Or Never," to the out-right, sweat-in-your-face Rock show single, "Rock 'N' Roll Music." The band's darker side takes over with their second single, "Sacrifice Ur Love," aggressively moving through the guitar, bass, and drum solos within the self-produced 3-minute sprint. The track debuted alongside its music video on May 7, 2021 to fans worldwide during their Instagram Live event. The EP doesn't end until the band's folky/electric mashup "17 minutes" takes you on a 7-minute rollercoaster ride where not a single emotion or moment is wasted.

In the winter of 2022, with the lead guitar of Spanish singer-songwriter Elias Serra, SD released "The Good Lord," a modern-day gospel-rock throwback. Its accompanying lyric music video symbolizes the song's deeper philosophical themes.

The following year, Jules recorded what some are calling, "an instant Christmas classic," releasing "Xmas Is Here" in December 2023. He blends his Punk and Reggaeton influences in this nostalgic, yet fun and catchy anthem.

In 2024, inspired by the sad realities of war, SD dropped, "Will You Love Me Tonite?"

With the help of KAT Terrienne's soulful vocals and cameo in the music video,

the track is dedicated to anyone whose had to leave home.

SOME INFLUENCES

STREET DREAMS founder, Jules McFly, was born in Miami Beach, FL, and raised in Miami. He formed his first band, The High 5, with his friend Eto in a Jamaica Queens, NYC basement while attending St. John's. Life brought him back home to the 305, but a visit to the greatest music town of all, New Orleans, pulled him to move there soon after. As a Frenchmen Street regular, his musical expression expanded to playing the bass when he joined the punk band, Interior Decorating, with his late friends Eric Bonney and Jaciel Beltre. After 3 glorious years in the 'Nolia, Jules continued on his musical journey and tried his hand in Nashville, TN. For one year, he collaborated with like-minded musicians while writing a good deal of songs. Ready for

the BIG TIME (haha), he set his sights out west to Hollywood (Los Angeles, CA) where he began his current and life-long project... STREET DREAMS.
